Upgrading your accounts lets you access all of our servers. You will also have unlimited bandwidth as opposed to 100Mb limit for free users. So what is this "DroidVPN Recommended Settings"? We know that it's very frustrating to find an open port so we decided to compile all the ports that works on your country, we then indexed them in our database so you can easily find them. With the release of Android 4.3, Security-Enhanced Linux (SELinux) is used to protect the Android operating software from malicious code that could cause damage to the phone. And then when they released Android 5.0, SELinux was set by default to Enforcing mode. Unfortunately when SELinux is enabled or in Enforcing mode it blocks some functions that is needed by DroidVPN to work properly. Short answer: Yes they will charge you. Since DroidVPN is still using your ISPs connection. Long answer: There are instances where they will not charge you and that depends on the ports/configuration you set on DroidVPN. Unfortunately we do not know exactly what configuration will work for you to get free internet on your country as we do not have access to your ISPs connection and cannot test it ourself.
