DroidVPN for Android TV

DroidVPN will now work for Android TVs starting version 2.7.1. You can download it now from Google Play Store or Directly from our download page We have also fixed the username/password incorrect bug and the incompatibility bug for Intel/x86 android devices on this version. We will soon post a tutorial on how to watch netflix on your android TV using DroidVPN, so stay tuned. Not really, We are not throttling the speeds of our free users so you should still get the same speed on our premium server. If your own network connection is already slow upgrading your account will not speed it up. The speed of DroidVPN is always dictated by how fast your main internet connection is. If your data plan is 2Mbps your download speed will be close to 2Mbps when using DroidVPN. This update fixes an annoying bug that prevents the vpn service running on the background to exit when DroidVPN is no longer connected. You will only notice this on rooted device because you will see a toast notification that DroidVPN was granted root access even when you are not using DroidVPN. The government of Australia passed a new legislation to block certain websites, specifically sites that provide access to pirated movies, TV shows and music. The passage of the new laws means that content owners will soon be able to apply to the federal court for orders requiring ISPs to block access to websites in cases where they can prove that their "primary purpose" is to facilitate copyright infringement.
