Will my Internet Service Provider(ISP) charge my account while using DroidVPN?

Short answer: Yes they will charge you. Since DroidVPN is still using your ISPs connection.

Long answer: There are instances where they will not charge you and that depends on the ports/configuration you set on DroidVPN. Unfortunately we do not know exactly what configuration will work for you to get free internet on your country as we do not have access to your ISPs connection and cannot test it ourself. Your best option is to search for those setting as they are readily available on the internet and then try it on your phone. There are many blogs out there that share the latest config for DroidVPN that will let you get free internet connection. Sample search term that you can use is "Free internet DroidVPN for Airtel". Good luck in your search!

Update: We have now released a page where you can see some port settings that just might work on your ISP. Just open the link below and then select your country and ISP that you are using.
