New version uploaded to Google Play - DroidVPN 2.34 (OLD)

We just released a new version (2.34) on Google Play which contain fixes for the SELinux permission problem on Android 5.0.1 and 5.0.2.

Android's security model is based on application sandboxes. Each application runs in its own sandbox. Prior to Android 4.3, these sandboxes were defined by the creation of a unique Linux UID for each application at time of installation. With the release of Android 4.3, Security-Enhanced Linux (SELinux) is used to further define the boundaries of the Android application sandbox. This then created some problems on DroidVPN as some functions is no longer working if you do not have the necessary permission. And the recent update on Android 5.0 prevented DroidVPN from working properly.

If you are still having the permission denied problem on your logs. Please contact us at support [at] droidvpn.com

Thank you and Happy holidays
