Maintenance (May 29-31 2016)
If youve been using DroidVPN yesterday you might have experienced random disconnections, don't worry we are just having our long due maintenance on our vpn servers. We have reconfigured some servers that have been dropping some packets due to increasing numbers of free users. We have optimized those servers so it can accept more users. We have also rebooted some servers because they have been running for almost 2-3 years already. Yup one of our servers is running for more than 3 years 24/7.
Server maintenance schedule
We have also set a maintenance schedule for the free servers every midnight of Sunday (GMT+0) and the premium servers every 14th and 28th of the month. During that time servers will be restarted which means you will be disconnected automatically at that time. This is done to free up some memory and make sure that every server is working properly.
What we are currently doing?
- We are still working on the new version of DroidVPN which will be available soon.
- A DNS and HTTP protocol is in the works and will be included on the next version. But most likely that the DNS protocol will have an app of its own.
- Resellers packages will soon be available.
- More server locations.
- And finally we will soon merge DroidVPN and PD-Proxy. This means you will now only pay for DroidVPN and you will still be able to use PD-Proxy. Full details about the merging of DroidVPN and PD-Proxy will be posted very soon...
