Why do I need to disconnect DroidVPN when using PayPal?

You need to disconnect from our VPN servers or any other vpn account you are using when paying through PayPal since using a VPN is against PayPal's terms of use. The reason behind this is they are using your IP address to check if your account is being accessed in a different location. For example you have a PayPal account or Credit/Debit card from India and your account was logged in using an IP address in Germany that raises a flag on your account which means that your account is probably compromised and any transactions you will make will be held for investigation.

If they detected that you are using a VPN when using PayPal they would sometimes freeze your payment and your account while they are checking if your account was compromised and your payment was authorized. This could lead to the suspension of your PD-Proxy account until your payment was released by PayPal after their investigation.

It is best to just use your home IP that is geo-located in the Country where your PayPal account or Credit/Debit Card is registered to prevent issues like this.
